Nisyros is located in the Northeast Aegean Sea in the centre of the Dodecanese, between the islands Kos and Tilos and Cape Knidos of Asia Minor. It is 8 (nautical) miles from the Kos, 10 from Tilos, 60 from Rhodes and 200 from Piraeus. In the region of Nisyros are also several islets Yiali, Agios Antonios, Strogili, Paheia, Pergousa and Kandeleousa. Nisyros is 41,6 sq. km.
